Apple ID link issues

My old iPhone 7 was unlocked and given to my granddaughter to use with a different carrier. But somehow my Apple ID/account is still linked to that phone because my new iPhone XR lost all my contacts and now the ones she entered on the old phone took the place of mine. How do I fix this?

I broke my phone and bought a new phone I wanted to try and get my information from my old phone on my new phone but my granddaughters contacts from a old phone she had came through does this mean I gave the wrong Apple ID and password I broke my iPhone but had pictures and contacts thst I wanted to go to my new phone I put the Apple password and user name in and when the data came through to my new phone it was from my granddaughters old iPhone does this mean I entered her Apple ID and password in by mistake as I have them all written down if her contacts came thought how did that happen

iPhone I have a problem with my phone and my daughters iPhone linking up and I need hers to unlink so that it doesn’t mess up my contacts and pictures basically everything! She is using my old iPhone and had an android phone but it tried to catch fire while charging and she put her old SIM card in the iPhone but all my info is still there I thought I had factory reset it but now I’m not sure and don’t want to chance losing my account information if we do it any suggestions

Did you do the steps in the article below? Is she using your Apple ID?

I reset the iPhone 7 to factory settings before and again after the unlock process. She is using her mother’s Apple ID, not mine.
