Delete Photos

I have photos on my Iphone 6s that I can't delete.

When I select the picture a trash icon is not displayed.

How do I get rid of them?

If they were synced to the iPhone from a computer via iTunes, see the "Turn off iTunes syncing" section of Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all of your devices - Apple Support
