iCloud Files - Catalina

New Mac Book Pro running Catalina unable to synch to iCloud Drive files.

The files are there and can be see through browser logon and my iPad can see the files when I open Pages etc. but non of the Apps; Pages, Number, Finder etc on the Mac Pro can see the files or download them. Finder can see the iCloud Drive and a Documents Directory but it is empty.

If I click on a pages file in the Browser Display, then it is opened by Preview and I can then move it to the local Cloud area on Finder.

I can access and use my iCloud email account and Photo App can see my collection and download and iTunes and the synch of my Diary has has no problems.

Any ideas or help please?

Well this appears to have resolved itself and I have no idea why.

After 10 days of trying to sort out what was wrong I opened the Mac up this evening and the iCloud Drive started to sync.
