Time Alignment

In iMovie, what is the best way to time align 2 videos? Specifically, a drummer in picture in picture to a full band shot. Very tedious and not always accurate doing it by eye/ear. Thank you!

I don't know of any way of aligning two videos except by ear and eye. What you can do is click-select the Picture in Picture video in the upper timeline and then, while holding down the Option key, tap on the < key to nudge the video to the left in one frame increments. It only nudges to the left so you would need to position your clip slightly to the right and then nudge it one frame at a time to the left until it aligns with the clip below. See if that works.
