itunes audiobooks

When I purchase and download an audiobook in iTunes, the title of the book shows as "Track 1" in my downloaded library, rather than the title of the book. The author's name appears, but when I have purchased several books from the same author, I am left guessing which book I want to synch to my other devices.

I imported them into Apple Music, gave them one album title, assigned track numbers & titles. But when I drag the album to Apple Books I only get the first track of the album. Can Apple's new Music app import audiobook CD's to the Books app? Since updating to Big Sur, the Music app that replaced my iTunes app seems to have no Option for "Audiobook." Under Get Info/Options/Media Kind, the only option is "Music." How do I import audio books from my CD's and get them over to Books so I can hear them?

Audiobooks can no longer be sorted by author I can not find an option under Books to sort my audiobooks by author. This existed in iTunes. Am I missing something? Thanks.

You should be able to edit the metadata in iTunes to something more meaningful. Select an item and press Cmd+i to make changes.
