Catalina problems - clicking mouse results in unwanted dropdown menus mostly inappropriate - difficult to get rid of them. How do I overcome this?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.15

Maybe you just have to reverse left-click and right-click:

  • Click on the apple icon on the menubar
  • Click on system preferences
  • Click on mouse
  • Is 'left' selected as primary mouse-click?
