iPhone 6s won’t turn on

My iPhone has been switched off for a few months, I tried turning it on today and nothing happened, I tried pressing the power button and home button at the same time and still no difference, it’s just a black screen. It’s been plugged into power for a few hours aswell but no sign of charging
