My phone has cracked and it is still under warranty will I have to pay for it to be repaired
You will most likely have to pay for a repair as accidental damage is not covered by the warranty unless you added Apple care coverage.

Yes, unless it was caused by a manufacturing defect. If you previously bought AppleCare+ for it, accidental damage incidents are cheaper to get fixed, but not free.
