how do I text someone who doesn't have an I-phone

You use the same Messages app as you do for those with iPhones (the green bubble icon on the home screen).

What happens when you try to send a message to someone without an iPhone? Do you see a message that says Not Delivered in red text?

there can be many reasons why it won't send

have you sent before to same people?

If you are sending too much data and or the signal is too weak, very easily not able to send - try sending one pic or one small text at a time - but in poor connect areas with a fluctuating one bar you might never be able to send until you get better signal or wifi

If this happens with everyone you try to text, contact your carrier and make sure your account is set up for SMS text messaging.

you have to ave all the right settings green under settings>messages

scroll down and see if you have something off and not green
