panic(cpu 6 caller 0xffffff801f26520a): Kernel trap at 0xffffff801f243d0e, type 14=page fault

The computer doesn't have any performance issues until it is actively

crashing, at which point it shuts off.


I have placed the error log below in additional text. Thank You for your help

Uninstall Sophos using the developer's instructions unless it is required by your school or employer. AV & cleaning apps are not needed on macOS and usually causes more problems than they solve, plus they impact system performance.


If any external devices were connected then see if the problem still occurs without them connected.


To look for other possible software issues run EtreCheck and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.

Kernel Panics are predominately caused by hardware faults and faulty third-party kernel extensions.

Page fault is a reference to memory not owned by the task that is running.


You are in good hands following HWTech advise above.
