icloud waiting to upload

Files and folders never completely upload. I have extensively searched on google and this forum, tried every suggestion in many posts and links complaining of the same problem on iOS MacOS and windows.

And I have not seen any resolved.

Has Icloud drive gone down?

If I delete a small file in icloud drive, imediately upload it, which should take a few seconds, and STILL it hangs "waiting to upload". I have run out of patience and about to delete my icloud drive and use dropbox or mega which always work fine. I'm not bothered even about synching just a remote space would do...
