iTunes

Using Macbook Pro, macOSCatalina Version 10.15.2. Attempting to get into iTunes library to search for an album. However there is no Search option any long at the top right. In fact none of the usuals are there (file, view, etc.) I've been at this for hours, and rather frustrated. Help?

OSX Music "Songs" list doesn't go to the album when I type Until the latest update, I had iTunes. When I show my library as a list of songs, I click the top of a column to sort by that column. All good so far. With iTunes, if I sorted on album (substitute artist, song, whatever), when I start to type an album name, it would go directly to that album in the list. With Music 1.2.3.56 on OSX 12.3.1, I can't seem to do this. Any ideas? (On a possibly related note, if I was looking at a different part of my library when the song changed, the list would immediately scroll to show the now-playing song, and that no longer happens.)

Accessing iTunes External library after upgrading to Big Sur After upgrading to Big Sur from Mojave I find I cannot access my External iTunes Library as the Choose button is greyed out. I took my iMac into work to do the upgrade due to low bandwidth here and I did not have my external SSD connected during the upgrade. All help gratefully received Nathanael

See the following arrow added to your screenshot. Then in the search results click "Your Library" near the top right of the screen.

That only searches my "Songs" or "Library" there is no connection to iTunes Store.

Works for me. Are you logged in via "Account" menu in the menu bar at the top of the screen?

I'm logged in, dunno, I've given up. Why the search location is where it has always been, upper right, I simply don't know.
