Why do you think your Mac is dirty?
Mostly the Mac takes care of these things itself. If you want to clear caches (which is the voodoo-du-jour) then simply start up in Safe Mode.
How big is your HD and how much free space on it? That can have a huge impact on speed.
Hard and fast rule: Never install any app the promises to "clean", "tune up" or "speed up" your Mac. These apps vary from the downright dangerous to the dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced user. They exist simply to extract cash from the wallets of the unwary. You don't need them.
