Exporting music stuck in I Tunes

Can anyone help me get the music I bought and paid for and collected in I tunes and put on my I pad? I don't want to use the iPad anymore but I can't get my music out of the I Pad or the I Tunes.

Erg. This reminds me why I quit using ITunes.

Yes, I followed directions of:

Preference/importsettings/mp3encoder/convert as mp3

I'm not importing the music - it's already there.

It does not let me export in mp3.

Hello,

You cannot copy music from an iPad to a computer. You can only synchronize music from a computer to an iPad. If you are also asking how to migrate music out of iTunes then you cannot legally do this as this would violate several copyright laws.

I'm baffled.

The music I took from my old CD's and loaded into I Tunes and loaded to my IPad can now not be moved to a computer?

Nor the music I bought from my iPad device?
