Under "Storage" my mac book air says I have 159.91GB of movies. BUT I have about 1 GB of home movies on my computer that I can find (.mp4 files) Where are the others and how can I get rid of them? I'm not very tech savvy and do wonder if I need to go into some store to have this done. Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice.

The information on the Storage Management is not always correct on the exact details of each category of storage. Try rebuilding the Spotlight Index to see if this helps.

Reveal "Movies" in the sidebar:
Go Here: Desktop > Finder > Preferences> Sidebar > Click: Movies

Now, in every Finder window, "Movies" will pop up as an option to select on the Left-Hand side of the Finder window.
