I have a new Mac Air. An album I purchased in 2008 is missing there may be more. I went to purchases, does not show up, I checked Hidden, not there. It is on my phone and iPad mini. Not in the iTunes account ... not on my computer
It is possible the version that you see in the store isn't actually the same version that you purchased. Distribution rights for music can change hands. An item might be withdrawn and then later re-released essentially as a new entry in the store. You can contact iTunes - Official Apple Support for further assistance in resolving this issue.

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - Apple Community. It is possible that the old purchase is no longer available in the iTunes Store and thus cannot be delivered to you from your purchase history.

I did check to see if the album is available and it is still on iTunes. Thanks for the link many of which I’ve already tried, other which kind of overwhelmed me. I will do this when I have more time to deal with this. Thank you for your suggestions.
Thanks. I finally just copied the music from my old computer on a USB and transferred to my new Mac.
