Every track that I import into Garageband is sped up automatically. No pitch change, just the tempo. For example, a 3 minute audio file is dropped into a new project, and is changed to 53 seconds, automatically. What is going on??

Hi treysoul... I had this same issue and there are a few posts in this forum about the same thing. It started happening to me after upgrading to Catalina. I was still using GarageBand 10.1.2 but have found since removing that and installing 10.3.3 from the App Store, that audio files dropped into projects play at their normal speed and time.

I also have this happening to me too. I haven't opened the app for about a month now. Did something happen in the update? I hope a response happens soon.
