mLut issue when applying LUT

I'm currently working on a wedding video on fcpx 10.4 and am trying to apply LUTs on my clips. Once I've applied the custom LUT, the clip looks fine until I render the clips. Once rendered, a small flickering square on the top left portion of the video flickers back from the non color graded clip to the color graded clip. It's only happens in the right upper quadrant of the clip. It happens to some clips and some render just fine. Can anyone help me out with this, or has experienced this issue? I've also used the original mLUT lots provided for free and they still have the same issue, so it can't be the custom LUTs I downloaded.
