When I send a text message it goes to people through my email not my phone number.

I am having trouble with my iMessages. Every time I send a text message it goes to people through my email not my phone number. How do I get it back to my phone number?

iMessage Hi guys, I need help figuring out why my texts would be sending from my email & not my number. I’ve gone into iMessage setting and it’s shows 3 addresses, one being my number, but my number isn’t selected. When I tap to select it nothing happens. Idk why my number would be listed but I can choose it as a way to send & receive messages.

iMessage settings keep switching to send from email In Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, there is a setting called "You can receive iMessages to and reply from" which lists my email address and my phone number. The phone number keeps getting unchecked without me doing anything, so my contacts are receiving messages from my email address instead of my phone number. How can I stop this setting from constantly switching on me?

I think you should change inside Setting - iMessage - send and receive
