Delete a text message inside a thread

Hi if a delete a single text message I sent inside of a thread, I know it deleted off my phone but what about their phone? My iPhone to android phone.

Hello!

If you delete a message off of your phone it will only be deleted from your phone and any other apple devices that you have iCloud messages turned on for. If you sent the message to someone if will remain on their device unless they delete it.
