I have a late 2011 I Mac and would like to upgrade to Catalina. Is this possible?

This I Mac is a late 2011 machine. Can it be upgraded to operating system "Catalina"?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.12

No. You need a Late 2012 or newer.
