When I swipe the search area at the top is missing?

Hello,

From iPad's Home Screen pull down from the very center of iPad's display, not from the center of the top bezel.

iPad Pro 12.9 (2021) - iOS 14.8 - no search bar Hello, I am a long-time iPad/iPhone/Mac user. About a month ago, I bought a new iPad Pro, 12.9 inch (2021 model). Since I bought it, I have not been able to locate the search bar. It is not displayed on the ‘home’ screen/ swipe right or on the ‘notifications’/ swipe down screen. I am still having this problem after updating to iOS 14.8. Restarting the iPad does not resolve the issue. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
