Software Update Help

Question

Trying to update my iPad to newest version: currently says "iOS 9.3.5 Your software is up to date" though this is not the current software.

iPad mini, iOS 9

Left one is Wi-Fi only and Right one is Wi-Fi + Cellular.

If it is a WiFi only model, yes. Otherwise, update to iOS 9.3.6.

For the first generation iPad mini, that is the highest possible.

I believe it is Wifi only, what would indicate if it is Wifi only?

Lack of a SIM card.

You could check the Model number at: Settings - General - About - Model = ??

You could then post back with that number if you need clarification.
