iPad connecting to Windows laptop

Greetings Everybody,

I like to ask this: I need to connect my iPad to a Windows laptop, do I need any Apple Adapters or I can just use the battery charging USB cable to connect to this Windows laptop?

Thanks in advance.

In addition to the USB cable, you will need to ensure that your battery level is above 50% (100% is better). Your laptop's USB port is very likely unable to supply enough electricity to maintain the iPad's battery.
