Both my magic mouse 2 and keyboard have stopped connecting to my 2016 mac mini. I had issues before with poor motion response on the mouse, but since I upgraded to Catalina bluetooth has stopped altogether.
I managed to get it working for long enough to access the bluetooth debug menu and rest bluetooth, but then it stopped working again.

Nice one, thank you. I had a couple of USB3.0 hard disks connected via an old USB 2.0 hub. Moved them further away from the Mac Mini and service was resumed. Now upgrading to a well-shielded USB 3.0 hub.
You're welcome! Yup' moving my USB 3.0 drives and re-routing the cables solved the problem for me as well.
