MacBook Air battery

My MacBook Air 11 inch early 2015, (Well, my school owns it, I just simply use it every day and bring it home) The battery dies in about 27 minutes of usage. I need help. I can't change any settings on it.

Check the battery condition by Option clicking on the battery icon on the menu bar. Anything except "Normal" or "Good" means the battery should be replaced. If the battery condition is "Normal", then try an SMC reset.

If the SMC reset does not help, then you will need to contact the school's IT staff to assist you.
