iPad Air 2 problems

My iPad keeps crashing as though there is no battery left (similar to the issues of my old iPhone 6), it is not responsive in terms of touch when plugged in to charge & isn’t charging correctly & discharging swiftly. My iOS is up to date (running 13.1.3 on 27/10/19).

Any ideas?
