can I use the USB cord to charge my iphone 11 pro

I tried the cable I use for our other Iphones, but it didn't start charging in the car. Nor did it connect to my computer USB port. I've ordered a USB-C to USB-3.1 converter to see if the cable which came with my Iphone 11 Pro will work. Think it will? The cable and charger, which came with the phone, charges the phone.

It's suggested that you use a high quality cable (i.e. not one that you buy for $3 at a gas station) but yes, you can use a USB to Lightning cable to charge your device in your vehicle.
