Anybody have an idea how to fix this problem - distorted menu turning pink (even though screen shot shows different colour) and making it impossible to work in iMovie.
I have upgraded OS to Catalina and re-installed iMovie - problem still persists. Never had this problem before.
Just discovered that if I go into System Preferences> Accessibility>Display and untick 'reduce transparency', no ticks in any other boxes. My dropdown menus, File etc., can be accessed and the pink distortion in iMovie has disappeared. I can now use iMovie again. However don'y know what other effects this fix may cause!!!!
I have the same problem with both iMovie and FINAL CUT PRO X.
It happens after the last update.
I have the same problem and have to move the whole screen sideways to access the File Drop down Menu and then guess which line the "Quit iMovie" is on!
