Mac Mini (2018) won't send data through the HDMI port.

My Maci Mini (2018) won't send data through the HDMI port. Only though USB-C adaptor.

I have dual monitors, both HDMI, one though an adaptor. Doesn't matter which plugs into the adaptor and which is straight HDMI, the HDMI port isn't working. This was working just last week. What happened?

Mac mini, macOS 10.14

Sorry, should have said "video signal" rather than data.

Monitor has nothing to do with it, as when I switched the imputs, each monitor would work running through the adaptor into USB-C. The issue is the HDMI port itself. I am running Mojave 10.14.6.

I was able to resolve this by resetting the NVRAM by shutting down and restarting the unit while depressing "P", "R", "Command", and "Option" simultaneously.
