Kingston USBs no longer working with catalina upgrade

Hi, Kingston USBs no longer working with catalina and the producer is still workingon an update. Any suggestions, other than uninstall, which looks like losing data/files

Do you have a Time Machine backup you can restore from?

Did Catalina change them to APFS?
