iPad Messaging??

How can I sync my iPad with my iPhone to where I can use text messages through my iPad?

Hello,

Please verify that Messages is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad in Settings > Tap your account > iCloud.

Please verify that iMessage is enabled on your iPhone and iPad in Settings > Messages.

Please verify that Text Message forwarding is enabled on your iPhone in Settings > Messages.

I havent used my iPad in several years but now it doesnt have the message section under icloud settings for this iPad like it use to. So, I could not be able to make sure the message section was enabled. I could not find the forwarding section under the message on my iPhone like you said
