If you're still unable to hear notifications for Mail, Contact Apple Support.

Thank you for your reply. From what you've described, you're having trouble hearing notifications for incoming Mail. I'd be happy to provide information that may help.

First, be sure that the mute switch not enabled: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode.

Also, turn the volume up to max, and test the issue.

Take a look at the "Check iOS Mail Fetch and Notification settings" section in this article: If you can’t send or receive emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Finally, check settings in Settings > Notifications > Mail to make sure a sound is enabled for account(s).
