I just updated my iphone7 to 13.1.2, & in Notepad I can’t get the magnifier to appear. Previously it popped up when editing text by pressing and holding the cursor at some place in the text. How/Can I re-enable the auto-magnify-popup while editing?

Turn your keyboard into a trackpad
The magnifier no longer appears when moving the cursor in iOS 13.
Instead, tap and hold the spacebar to change the keyboard area into a virtual trackpad to place the cursor.
