Updates for Command Line Tools XCode 11 on Catalina

Hi! Two days ago I shifted to Catalina. After that, I keep on having an "available update" notification in my preferences, concerning Command Line Tools for XCode 11. The problem is that, even if I download the updates and try to install them, at the end of the process OsX verifies for available updates, and returns me again exactly the same updates! This is very bothering...I also tried something manual from the terminal, but apparently without success. Can you help me?

You are able to install these tools without XCode. They are available from the command line with the command xcode-select --install

Your suggested solution does not solve the issue for me, because XCode is not installed. This is a bug on Apple's part with the update packages likely to do with the fact that they probably moved where the command line tools are installed in Catalina and XCode 11.

I have found no solution for this to be fixed yet.

Be certain to allow Xcode 11 to install the optional developer tools when it first starts. If you don't do this, you will not be able to install the command line tools, from either software update or the Terminal until the first sentence is satisfied. That has been my experience on Mojave, unless Catalina has its own spin on this process.
