If the Store section is not appearing the side bar in the new music app,

  1. Open the Apple Music app.
  2. In the menu bar, choose Music > Preferences.
  3. Go to the General tab and select iTunes Store.
  4. Click OK.

It should then appear in the Sidebar for you to select.

Thanks. I can find the store but how do I search the store for specific music? The search bar seems to have gone missing and there's not magnifying glass search symbol anywhere. I usually don't just browse the store. Instead I search for specific titles or artists.

Okay... one more question if you're in the mood... Can you still preview music before purchasing it? The new Music store seems to go right to a pop-up to join Apple's streaming music service. What I really want is to actually own the rights to the music so that I can download the music file.
