Apple is not accepting Irish Postcode

Just received an email from Apple to update account information but I’ Unable to do so and set my payment information as it is not accepting the postcode. Is that known issue? Any solution?

Thanks. Issue is resolved. I think I had to set the shipping information first and then payment information.

contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option. You may need to pick a problem that is slightly different than yours to get a chat option.
