Thank you for the link, Joseph_S.!
- "Open the email, tap
, then tap Flag."
Who would initially think that all features are hidden inside the "Reply" icon, the only icon at the bottom of each message other than the trashcan? There is so much more unused white space (= precious screen real-estate) there. Really, Apple???
I have 'intuitively' tapped on and/or long-held on the colored flag at the upper-right of the flagged mail, and also did the same when swiped-left to show the 'Flag' action icon as well.
And how do I change and set the default flag color?
Oddly, nothing is mentioned within the "Flag and filter emails on iPhone" how to page, in English that is. But, I have found it is somehow mentioned within the Japanese version of the same page, stating:
"フラグのデフォルトの色や形を変更するには、「設定」 >「メール」>「フラグのスタイル」と選択します。"
which translates to "To set default flag color and shape, go to "Settings" > "Mail" > "Flag Style"", which actually does not exist within the settings.
iOS 13's scrapped feature...? To be added feature...? YES PLEASE, Apple!
In any case, as I've said, I LOVE that iOS 13 Mail now finally reflects the Mac OS Mail Flag colors. It's about time.
But, still a bit more to do, Apple.
