PEDAL SUSTAIN Logic Pro x

HI! I reset my computer I restart all my plugins vst etc...logic works wonderfully but when I plug my synth it won't listen to my pedal sustain ...I ve tried it on fl studio 20 and works like a charm on it, but for recording piano my only choice is Logic Pro X (way superior but without my sustain pedal is kinda useless). Usually I never had to enable or touch anything ..logic always detected my sustain pedal automatically...now I ve tried to enable it somewhere but I wasnt able to find anything...please tell me what I need to do!! thanks

Probably control surface related.

Go to the upper left "Logic Pro X" menu, go to Control Surfaces, first try "Rebuild Defaults", then quit Logic and reboot the computer. Any sustain yet? If that doesn't work try "Bypass All Control surfaces"... that setting may be instantaneous.
