Mail - Sort by date in Threaded View

I just moved to a new Macbook Pro. The Mail is sorted by date, Newest on top. However, in the Threaded view, the oldest mail is shown on top. To view the newest email, I have to scroll all the way down. Any idea on how to solve this problem to show newest emails on top in the Threaded view?

Thank you. What I was looking for was the sorting of messages within the thread. I finally found that it is available in the "Viewing" option of Mail. Screenshot attached.

Thank you for your reply. Sorting by "Date Received" does not seem to sort the messages by date in the tread. For eg., if I have 6 messages in the thread, the oldest one on 9/15 and the newest one on 9/25, the 9/15 message shows on top. I thought that clicking on Date Received would automatically sort all messages, but that is not the case.

some people sort by date received and have their most recent message on the top.

some people sort by date received and have their most recent message on the bottom.

That is why I used the weasel-words I did in my initial explanation:

click on the "date received" column to toggle (that is, flip from ascending to descending or descending to ascending) that column.
