When I "updated" to iOS 13 the Find Friends app disappeared. I still have it on my iPad. Is this function really deleted or changed? If it became hidden or changed how do I get it back on my phone? Thanks.
Also, the app no longer shows up on the App Store when I use my phone to try to retrieve it but my iPad finds it.

The app name has been change in iOS 13 to Find My. It's still on your device.

Find My Friends was a free app. Find My is a subscription. Is this just Apple making more money by charging for what used to be a free app?

Find My is not a subscription.
Again, the Find my iPhone and Find my Friends app have been combined into one app which is called Find My.
It just has a different name and icon.

You are right. It changed color and my color blindness hid it from me. It also moved to a different screen so that helped hid it from me. THANKS for the patience and help.
