How do I stop the dictation from double talk

.. The double input doesn't happen if you write at least one letter manually and finish the dictation by pressing the escape button. Or any other button on the keyboard. Especially in this forum you must write one letter manually before because otherwise the writing which says tell us what is in your mind is somehow overlaid by the writing.

.. But the issue persists if you use enhanced dictation, which means the kind of dictation which also works off-line: but if you use the dictation supported by Siri then you will have no doubletalk. I found this by myself when experimenting with the dictation.

Yes thats very likely, because it is a safari related issue, by the way the problem still persists in the latest Safari version 13.0.


It is also in Sierra. I have no computer with High sierra but one with Sierra. But it's only in Safari.... no difference if youuse dictation in a forum or in a web form like a search engine for example
