After upgrade to Safari 13.0 missing bookmarks on favorite page

That's was not what I asked. I know the show less/more toggle and what it does. When I click Show Favourites - nothing happens. Before the uprade I was able to see not only Frequently Visited icons, but also Favorites as icons (including folders containing favourite bookmarks).

Go to Safari Preferences. Change 'top sites shown to larger number from current six'. Mine changed to 24. Then, out of preferences. Go back to Safari Favorites Icons display and note a 'grayed' word (more, or less) on upper right of Icons being displayed, and click with cursor to 'more'. Should display 24-icons now.

Hi, I have Catalina 10.15 with Safari 13.0.2. I can see Top Sites OK but Favourites icons are missing.

If I press Bookmarks>Show Favourites nothing happens.

I can get the Favourites Bar (which I dont like) but not the icons on a new page/tab.

Any ideas?

I have this problem too since upgrading to Safari 13.0, very annoying as there appears no way to get them displayed when you open a new window

I have similar issue, if you scroll down you may see your favorites. Mine shows a large blank area before the actual icons.

I tried this too

in faint letters on the right hand side just above I cons look for show more click and all your favourites will appear it freaked me out at first

on favourites page top right above top icon in faint letters it say's "show more" click on it

Any luck having the correct bookmarks and/or bookmark folders and/or favourites return? And remain correct?

Yes, it's better not to upgrade the os when it was introduced and I regretted it. It always gives us annoying issues . Why do Mac users need a safari with icon of showing more/ less favourites?

Apple “improved” Safari in the latest release. Now you have to toggle the icon on the right of the page to prompt Safari to display all your bookmarks as before
