Aux not working on iPhone x and iphone 8 iphone 7 as well

I can’t play music through my aux Cable. I think the issue from the software. Cuz i try it on other phone with aux 3.5 mm jack it work!!

iPhone 12 Pro Max don't recognize that an AUX cord is plugged in I bought a new iphone 12 pro max and plugged it into my aux cord and it would play music through my speakers in my truck. Aux connection I’ve purchased an aux adapter in order to play music from my phone onto my car but it’s not working. Do I have to do something in my settings to switch it on or do I have to upload the latest iOS software....... please help

the problem was from lighting jack. And i fix it thanks for your reply.
