Apple TV App on a MacBook Air

I’m just setting up my new MacBook Air (Mojave 10.14.6) 2019. It doesn’t have the Apple TV App and I can’t find it in the App Store. Is it not available for this MacBook and I need to wait until I can install MacOS 13 Catalina? And when is that due to be released?

The TV app is not currently available for Mac, it will be coming with the next update. Apple has not issued an actual release date, but have said it will be in October.
