How do I transfer apps to a new phone after set up.

You have two options:
iTunes backup:
You will need a pc or a mac that has iTunes installed. You can make a backup of the old iPhone there and you can restore it to the new.
Connect your new iPhone to iTunes and you can select your backup that you want to restore.
On the new device Find my iPhone ha to be turned off.
iCloud backup:
On the old you should make a backup in iCloud. That option can be found in the Settings app in iCloud settings. After it proceeded, you will have to erase your new phone if it is setted up (Settings app/General/Reset/Erase all Content and Settings). After it is completed you have to set up your phone again, but during the setup you have to choose "Restore iCloud backup".
Both methods restores everything not just apps and all data on the new phone will be deleted.
