sorting by date taken in a shared album
How do i sort photos in a shared album by date taken? (the present order appears to be date added i think)

You can't. The only sort order in a shared album is the order in which the images were added to the album. Tell Apple what missing features you'd like restored or new features added in Photos via Feedback - Photos - Apple
