iPhone Data Recovery
Could anyone state whether I can get back my data like phots etc from my iPhone if I mistakenly restore my phone from a previous backup (2017) and did not backup the current data files ?

Check your iCloud account and see if things were backed up there.
There is no way to restore things that were deleted without a backup.
