Mail SMTP (outgoing) does not work - IMAP sending is no problem

I have Mac OS Mojabe. On the SMTP it has my email address but it states it is offline:

xxx@xxx.com (Offline)

It used to send mail for about 3 weeks then stopped working- I can send easily using mail2web so must be something with mac. I also went to the V2 library and changed False text to True but still no success. thanks

Sadly I have tried almost every option and every combination. The issue is that I had it sending emails for 4 weeks and then it stopped.
