I got an email saying my Apple ID is locked and that I need to unlock it within 24 hours or else my password will be changed automatically. I clicked on the link but it does not work, anyone else have this problem before or know what to do?

Never, ever click on any link like that. It is a scam. You already know your AppleID is fine - you had to use it to login here to post. And you can always check it yourself, without ever clicking on any links in any message by logging in at https://appleid.apple.com/
